Eligible project costs are paid by cost share funds as a reimbursement after practice completion. Practices must be approved by the SWCD Board of Supervisors before implementation. 

Conservation practices are built to NRCS standards. The conservation practice is inspected periodically to assure the satisfaction and integrity of the practice.

Approved construction practices include activities that control nutrient runoff; stabilize critical eroding areas; divert runoff to protect and improve water quality; reduce wind erosion; control gully, rill, or sheet erosion; protect shoreland from erosion; control stormwater runoff; or protect surface water and ground water quality.
